Is Launched the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo

The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare today has launched the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo. The Minister of MLSW, Mr. Arban Abrashi said active labor market measures have many opportunities for employment in Kosovo in many sectors. He added that mediation and guidance for young people and jobseekers should be mediated in these sectors. The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare has undertaken many reforms in Public Employment Services in Kosovo, to modernize its services in line with the requirements of creating a customer-oriented employment service. One of these reforms is the creation of this Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo. Moreover, MLSW has diversified the way of providing services, adding to their range also online services for jobseekers and employers.
The General Director of EARK Mr. Drin Haraçia said that this agency is a public service provider in the labor market, which aims at managing the labor market and implementing employment and vocational training policies.
Mr. Haracia said that within the Employment Agency is the Central Office, within which are 3 Departments and 9 Divisions, 38 Employment Offices in all 38 Kosovo Municipalities and 8 Vocational Training Centers.
