In Llapnasellë, the municipality of Gracanica is made distribution of employment contracts for 60 new employees so far considered as unemployed, a total of 100 candidates had applied for the 5-day training in three key areas: sales, marketing and business, Within the project “Promoting employment and increase opportunities for young people” in municipality, Ranilug, Gracanica and Fushe Kosova. The idea of this project is started and is being implemented within the intent of promoting employment for long term unemployed people registered at employment offices.
This project had financial support from the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare 55 thousand euros which we would like to make payment for 60 new employees from 150 euros per month for the next 6 months, while the Norwegian embassy with 40 thousand euros for other expenses necessary and whose implementation so far and will continue to do the Institute for Development and Integration – IDI.
Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Nenad Rasic, along with the director of the Institute for Development and Integration, Mr. Lulzim Sejdiu stated that this project is a project for the integration of minorities in Kosovo today’s society and also to reduce unemployment in those municipalities where the percentage continues to be high.
It is worth noting that this project, 30% of these workers were trained during these five days will receive a two-year contract with possibility of extension after the expiration of the first six-months as probation, Minister Rasic said.
Trainees in this project were: 20 of Kamenica, 20 Rannilug, 10 of the Gracanica municipality and 10 of Fushe Kosova.
