Inaugurated 30 houses in the neighborhood of the Martyrs and the building of 20 others in Podujeva

Deputy / Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Fatmir Shurdhaj, along with Deputy / Minister of KSF, Mr. Muhamed Latifi and former MP from Podujeva, Mr. Latif Gashi, has inaugurated 30 houses in village Ballofc of municipality of Podujeva, which were built by MLSW for families of martyrs, invalids, war veterans of the KLA and social occasions. Families who have benefited from this project so far have been located in the neighborhood called Kuwait. After the inauguration of these 30 houses, Deputy / Minister of MLSW, Mr. Fatmir Shurdhaj, along with Deputy / Minister of KSF, Mr. Muhamed Latifi, has set the cornerstone for the construction of 20 other homes for these categories.
Mr. Shurdhaj said before the audience, he felt satisfied that today is here, on the Day of Liberation of Pristine. “I am pleased that the plan and the strategy of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to build houses families of martyrs, war invalids, veterans and social cases continue. In today inaugurated the 30 homes for these categories and are starting the construction of the 20 houses. This project will continue in the future because it is the commitment of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo “- said Mr. Shurdhaj besides others.
Although MLSW and the RC of Podujeva have signed a memorandum of understanding for the project, at today’s inauguration did not attend one of Podujeva municipal structures, which, according to the memorandum, it is the responsibility of the municipality of Podujeva regulation of supporting infrastructure for these house. “Unfortunately there are municipal representatives here today. I say this with regret. We have a memorandum of understanding to build infrastructure Nevertheless we will continue the work, the project will continue in the future, “said Mr. Shurdhaj.
