The Republic of Kosovo and the Kingdom of Belgium are soon expected to sign a social security agreement, an agreement that brings great benefits to the citizens of both countries.
Last week, a delegation of the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare, appointed by the Minister of MLSW, Skender Reçica, held meetings with the Belgian delegation, where negotiations on the agreement concerned were successfully concluded. During the meetings, both sides agreed to quickly set a date for signing the agreement.
The purpose of the agreement is the reciprocal interest of the citizens of both states in order to attain the rights in the field of social insurance, such as contribution-payer pension, family pension, and the work disability pension, depending on where they choose to live.
