The EU Office in Kosovo through the project “Support to Labour Inspectorate for fighting against undeclared work” hosted an informal meeting with journalists, Labour Inspectorate and occupational safety and health (OSH) experts to discuss developments in the OSH sector and what must be done to improve the situation.
The meeting was interactive and it was a joint conclusion of all participants that media should be engaged by all stakeholders in promoting and raising the awareness about the importance of OSH. Luigi Brusa, Head of the Cooperation Section at the EU Office in Kosovo,  urged for a stricter implementation of the legal framework by all parties and suggested to the media to pay more qualitative coverage of the OSH sector. On the other hand, Valon Leci, Acting Head of Labour Inspectorate said that we all need to work together in changing the mindset of business owners and workers in prioritizing OSH at workplaces.
