A delegation from the Republic of Kosovo, headed by Deputy /Minister of MLSW, Mr. Fatmir Shurdhaj, the composition of which delegation are Deputy of the Parliamentary Committee for Health and Social Welfare Assembly , Mr. Liburn Ali and a political adviser MLSW , Mr. Victor Mehana and Kosovo Ambassador in Brussels, Ms . Mimoza Ahmetaj is participating in Annual Congress against Poverty and Social Exclusion, held in Brussels from 26 to 27 November under the auspices of the European Commission.
And panel participants, among many participants from different European countries are Jose Manuel Barroso, European Commission president, and Herman Van Rompoy president of the European Council.
The main discussion of this congress is problems of poverty faced by national countries but also those that are aimed towards integration into the European Union.
Discussed the implementation of social policies to alleviate poverty, the need for fulfillment of the strategy “Europe 2020 ” highlighting the needs and interests of new national investment in people and the economy as the only way towards alleviating poverty and social .
During the congressional delegation from Kosovo have held meetings with representatives from many different countries of the European Union, but also with their counterparts from the ministries of labor and national parliaments.
