Deputy / Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Qazim Rahmani, accompanied by the Ambassador of the UAE, representatives of organization “Bereqeti” and officials of the Center for Social Work of Obilic, distributed 200 food packages for families in need the municipality.
On this occasion, Deputy / Minister Mr. Rahmani, on behalf of MLSW, thanked the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) for their contribution and assistance offered by this country for Kosovo and her citizens in the past as well as now.
“We are always grateful to the UAE that have helped and are helping the people of Kosovo, and I believe that in the future this assistance and support to Kosovo and its citizens will not fail,” said Mr. Rahmani.
In the distribution of packages attended also the non-resident Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates Mr.Ibrahim Al Alawi.
Similar food packages are also distributed to some other municipal centers for social work. 200 food packages were distributed in the municipalities of Gjilan, Mitrovica, Skenderaj and Drenas.
