In Obiliç is inaugurated recreation center for the elderly. Environment of this center includes a library, medical team, dining room, kitchen and several recreational facilities that will be available to the elderly of the Obiliç municipality which is opened today in this city.
This project was enable by the International Organization for Migration in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare in the framework of the European Union “Beautiful Kosova 2’’.
This project was implemented during the period August-September of this year and has cost over 140 thousand euros, while today during its inauguration emphasized that such a center was very necessary for the municipality, but that such a thing should be done in all municipalities of Kosova.
Present at the inauguration was the Minister of Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Arban Abrashi, who said he felt, privileged to participate in a project such as this.
“This is my second day of work and I feel privileged to participate in a project like this. This project had already reached its effect and I feel very satisfied when I see people, maybe people somehow overlooked by this society to benefit a center like this, to be socialized, to discuss problems and in order to develop more and more “, said Minister Abrashi.
As for the chief of Operations in the Office of the European Union, Christof Stock, this is not just a health center but it is a place where retirees can meet, socialize and share conversations among themselves.
” Again I am saying that I am more than satisfied because with age passing all have different health problems and in this way we have the opportunity to offer you a better care of retirees,” added Stock.
