In Tirana, the Minister of Labour and Social Welfare of the Republic of Kosovo, Mr. Nenad Rasic and Minister of Social Welfare and Youth of the Republic of Albania, Mr. Erion Velijaj, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Joint Employment Platform that includes the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania.
The idea of creating a common platform on regional employment is laid by the Minister Rasic in last year’s meeting in Kukes, Albania which is aimed at creating a regional virtual employment portal (PRVP), which will have portal, in public employment services, databases employing the region.
Initial participants for the creation of this portal are the counterpart Ministries of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania in Tirana materialized today with the signing of a memorandum of understanding the Ministers Mr. Rasic and Mr. Velijaj.
Under the agreement the Regional Portal Virtual Employment will be published announcements / contests, which will be stored in the database of public service employment of participating countries, which advertisement will be available from local service provider in a web application center in Kosovo.
This application center will provide services to the public through the website, which is based on the approach taken by the European Portal of Platform of Employment – EURES.
