The Government of the Republic of Kosovo, at the last meeting, approved the Action Plan for Growth of Youth Employment 2018-2020, a cross-sectoral plan whose drafting was led by the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare.
Minister of MLSW Mr. Skender Rećica presented the main objectives of the plan, including increasing the access of young people to the labor market, increasing employment through entrepreneurship development, harmonizing vocational education and training with labor market requirements and providing career guidance and counseling services, and the enhancement of the quality of practical teaching in schools and vocational practice outside the school.
As the Youth Employment Plan is foreseen in the National Plan for Implementation of the Stabilization and Association Agreement and in the European Agenda, Minister Mr. Reçica said that his approval paves the way for Kosovo towards the European perspective.
