The Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, visited today the Handikos Association on the eve of the change of motions, where he met the children with disabilities of this association.
Mr. Reçica congratulated the children and their families for the new year and promised to continue providing continuous support for raising the welfare of this category.
“We are here today to spend a few moments together with the children of the association on the eve of the change of the weather and also to tell them and family members that our dedication and commitment in fulfilling the moral and legal obligations to them will continue without stop, “said the minister.
The minister said that raising welfare and meritorious treatment of this category will also be the focus of the curriculum for 2019.
“We have already adopted a Concept Document on categorization and treatment of people with disabilities in the government, which will include a comprehensive law on people with disabilities,” the minister said.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Association “Handikos”, Mr. Afrim Maliqi and the children’s families thanked Minister Reçica for the visit and continuous support, as well as the commitment to increase the well-being for the categories with disabilities.
