Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica waited today at a meeting the representatives of the Association of People with Disabilities HANDIKOS, Mr. Afrim Maliqi director of the association and Mr. Faruk Kukaj, representative of office of HANDIKOS of Pristina.
Minister Mr. Reçica assured Mr. Afrim Maliqi for his engagement in the implementation of the law on the status and rights of paraplegic and tetraplegia persons and also offered genuine support and cooperation of MLSW in the areas related to this part of Kosovo society.
For his part, Mr. Maliqi expressed his concern about the non-implementation of the law so far, which Minister Reçica assured he would raise the voice of the Government to start implementing the law, which governs the rights and requirements of paraplegics and tetraplegia.
Mr. Maliqi expressed gratitude to Minister Reçica for his support.
