Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica is staying on an official visit to Germany.
Minister Mr. Reçica, accompanied by the Head of the Kosovo Diplomatic Mission in Stuttgart, Mr. Blerim Canaj, was received in a meeting by the Minister of State of the Land of Baden Württemberg, Mrs. Tereza Schopper.
During the meeting, Minister Mr. Reçica thanked Mrs. Schopper for the support that Germany is giving to Kosovo, in particular the Land of Baden Württemberg, with concrete projects for the inclusion of young people from Kosovo as a guarantee for mitigating unemployment through the education of cadres in the professions required by the labor market in Kosovo and the European Union.
Mrs. Schopper confirmed the readiness to expand cooperation with Kosovo, whether through circuit migration, vocational training of young people, but also in the future with directs investments by German enterprises. She pledged that she, in cooperation with relevant ministries, will support Kosovo-related initiatives both in terms of socio-economic cooperation, as well as in the political plan, supporting Kosovo’s path towards the EU.
