In the first meeting with Minister Mr. Abrashi with the Ambassador Mr. O’Connell touched on issues which are priorities of the Ministry as: field of employment and social schemes. Mnister Mr. Abrashi informed the Ambassador that is making maximum efforts to build a more favorable social environment for the citizens.
After the meeting, two contracts were signed between the British Embassy and two non-governmental organizations: the Institute for Development Policy (Indep) and the Kosovar Stability Initiative (IKS), which will support the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare in the field of vocational training and legislation.
