Minister of Labour and Social Welfare, Mr. Arban Abrashi, today laid the foundation stone for the new building of the department of Employment in Rahovec.
Minister Mr. Abrashi said that this facility is designed to provide better services for young jobseekers in the municipality. Having thanked the co-project GIZ and SDC, Mr. Abrashi added that the Employment Office will have a completely new role in the future in providing services within an integrated part of the Employment Agency, which will be operational in the future. He stressed that employment remains the number one priority of the government and this is not the only project for the residents of this municipality.
At the inauguration of the works of this project, the representative of GIZ, Emily Cullom, who led the project “Promoting youth employment in Kosovo”, he said he felt happy that this project is collabotarors with MLSW. She said that our focus is to provide the best possible service and quality. Mrs. Cullom added that in previous projects have seen that in Rahovec has very positive energy to work together.
The Projects financed by GIZ and the Swiss organization for cooperation SDC (Swiss Development Cooperation).
The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Finance, Mr. Avdullah Hoti and the mayor of Municipality Rahovec, Mr. Idriz Vehapi.
