At the premises of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, Minister Mr. Nenad Rasic and his associates met with representatives from the Federation of Unions of retirees and disabled workers, headed by the president of the federation Mr. Riza Shala.
The main topic of discussion at the meeting was the Issue of the Pension Scheme Funded by the State, where Minister Rasiç expressed readiness to solve the problems of pensioners by emphasizing that we are in waiting of the approval of this law.
Mr. Riza Shala, Head of the Trade Union Federation of Pensioners and Work Invalids, revealed worries and concerns of retirees seeking the support of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and all institutions of the Government of Kosova to improve their condition.
At the end of the meeting it was concluded that this is only one technical meeting for establishing institutional mechanisms and long-term planning for the rights of pensioners.
