The Minister of MLSW, Mr. Arban Abrashi held a meeting with his social partners, where with their request, in a unanimous way, agreed for Mr. Abrashi to chair the Economic and Social Council by June of this year.
During the meeting they agreed that after this period the chair will be elected again by the consensus, but if the consensus is not reached, it will be decided by votes. Within this period it will be also considered the issues regarding the ESC’s budget and the legal infrastructure.
At today’s meeting it was approved the annual work report of the Economic and Social Council. Also, today it was discussed the Law on Work, early pensions for miners and the fight against informality. Economic and Social Council has discussed the collective agreement, for which they were engaged to apply it not only in the public sector, but also in the private one.
