In street of Martyrs in Balloc of Podujeva today inaugurated and delivery of keys for beneficiaries 20 houses built for families sheltered in containers of this quarter.
At this ceremony held today at the Street of Martyrs in Podujeva, 20 families have received keys to new houses, built by a joint project of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare and the Municipality of Podujeva.
At this ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Podujeva Mr. Agim Veliu and Minister of Labour and Social Welfare (MLSW), Mr. Arban Abrashi, and members of municipal executive and municipal committee for the selection of beneficiaries.
The Mayor Veliu expressed the commitment of the municipality of Podujeva in accordance with the conditions of the signed Memorandum provides MLSW of perform all obligations so that as soon as all the new refugees in this street to have their homes.
While in his speech, Minister Mr. Abrashi said that at this time to live in containers is unacceptable. “I express my full commitment that will engage together with Mayor Mr. Veliu to quickly proceed with this project and this area of containers, to give a different picture,” said Mr. Abrashi
