Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Çerkin Dukolli took part in the conclusion of the APPK project and Diakonie, a project that is continuously supported by MLSW. The project, which has successfully crowned the youth training program, has been implemented by the Kosovo Employment Agency in Kosovo and the German Diakonie Social Institution. Nineteen-day training has benefited 61 young people, who in September will start further vocational training and employment in Germany.

The MLSW is launching today the awareness campaign, "Safety and Health at Work," aimed at preventing accidents and accidents at the workplace. On this occasion, Minister of MLSW Mr. Skender Reçica visited construction companies Agro Trade-Fidola Construction and Dreni, where he met the workers and owners of the companies in question and discussed about the importance of implementing the legislation in force as a prerequisite for safety and health at work.

Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, received today in a meeting the Croatian Ambassador to Kosovo, Maria Kapitanović, with whom they agreed on intensifying the processes related to some important issues.
Minister Reçica and Ambassador Kapitanović discussed the agreement on seasonal employment of citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, where they agreed that this process would be intensified strongly.

Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, together with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Fatmir Limaj, have held today meetings and discussions with beneficiary families of the Social Assistance Scheme in the municipalities Therandë and Prizren. 

The purpose of the meeting is to refer to the MLSW project regarding the employment of a family member who does not have any employees, and who have at least one job-able member.

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Vesel Makolli today participated in the allocation of 30 certificates for young people with syndrome down in the framework of the project "Strengthening young people with Down Syndrome", a project signed month ago between the Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare and the "Down Syndrome Kosova" Association.

Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, hosted today in a meeting of representatives of the World Bank, chaired by Stefanie Brodmann, informed them about a range of issues and reforms undertaken by MLSW in various fields. The topic of discussion between Minister Reçica and representatives of the World Bank was the New Labor Law and the reforms being made by MLSW regarding the employment relationship.

Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Mr. Skender Reçica, received qa meeting today the Ambassador of Kuwait in Kosovo, Mr. Fayez Mishari Al Jassim, who informed him about the current situation regarding the commitments and plans of the MLSW in the respective fields.

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Mr. Çerkin Dukolli and representatives of the organization "Help" took part today in the conclusion of the three year project "Support for socio-economic stability through the strengthening of micro-business in Kosovo", which has benefited 850 micro-business and 600 young Kosovars were trained. Deputy Minister Mr. Dukolli said that the policies related to the field of employment and social welfare are not only one of the most important priorities of the Government, but are also closely linked with the EU integration agenda and in line with the commitments and the objectives of the European Economic Reform Program and the Stabilization and Association Agreement.

The Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare has today launched the two strategic documents which, as part of the European agenda, are aimed primarily at raising the well-being and employment of young people in the state of Kosovo. The launch of the Sector Strategy 2018-2022 and the launch of the Action Plan for Youth Employment were made today during a conference organized by MLSW.

For two consecutive weeks, the Minister of Labor and Social Welfare, Skender Reçica, for the purpose of promoting vocational training and retraining has visited seven Vocational Training Centers (VTCs) in Prishtina, Mitrovica, Gjilan, Ferizaj, Prizren, Gjakova and Peja. During the visits to these training centers, Minister Reçica met many young and new candidates, some even with postgraduate and postgraduate studies, who have attended and attending training courses in various professions.
